I started my working life in a coal mine in the village of Whitwell in Derbyshire. Since that time I spent over Twenty years working as a domestic appliance engineer and then on to teaching the skill to disabled people. I started working in Health & Safety in 1995 whilst working for a power generation company. I have since grown in both skill set and knowledge of many industries from Automotive to Fresh Produce and nearly everything inbetween. It is said that Health & Safety is merely common sense but in unmanaged environments sense is very rarely common.

After numerous redundancies I decided to take charge of my own fate and provide my services on a consultancy basis which would mean that companies now have the choice of  hiring a Health & Safety professional to advise and implement safety systems without having to employ on a full time basis. So with the help of a good friend at FIUK the concept was born.

 

I have NEBOSH and IOSH accreditation and membership of IOSH is in application. over Thirty years of industrial experience and vast experience at implementing, auditing and manageing safety systems
